Location: Bangkok/ Chonburi
Key Responsibilities
- Lead electrical engineering activities across all project stages including design, construction, and commissioning.
- Provide technical solutions and ensure designs meet safety standards and regulations.
- Monitor project progress, resolve technical issues, and communicate updates to teams and stakeholders.
- Collaborate with design and engineering teams to meet technical requirements and compliance standards.
- Maintain strong working relationships with clients, authorities, and project partners.
- Prepare technical reports, progress updates, and documentation for project teams and relevant parties.
- Coordinate work between internal teams, contractors, suppliers, and external partners to ensure project deadlines are met.
- Develop detailed electrical designs and ensure alignment with project specifications and safety codes.
- Produce drawings, wiring layouts, and schematics using AutoCAD or equivalent software.
- Validate electrical systems and components to meet performance, quality, and safety standards.
- Coordinate installation work to ensure systems are built according to approved plans.
- Conduct site inspections, resolve technical challenges, and oversee quality standards.
- Troubleshoot issues during construction and provide technical support as needed.
- Work closely with contractors and suppliers to manage schedules and resolve conflicts.
- Ensure all electrical work complies with applicable regulations and safety guidelines.
- Promote and enforce site safety practices to minimize risks.
- Conduct system testing to verify functionality, safety, and reliability.
- Support commissioning processes and coordinate with testing teams and stakeholders.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues during testing and commissioning phases.
- Maintain clear records of design changes, project approvals, and construction activities.
- Prepare technical reports, project updates, and compliance documentation.
- Ensure all reports and records meet project and regulatory standards.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field; professional certification is an advantage.
- 8 to 10 years of relevant experience in large-scale electrical projects.
- Strong knowledge of electrical design, installation, and troubleshooting processes.
- Familiar with electrical codes, industry standards, and engineering practices.
- Experience with substation systems, DC technologies, infrastructure projects, and commissioning.
- Skilled in design tools such as AutoCAD or Revit; knowledge of BIM is an advantage.
- Understanding of project cycles, prefabrication processes, and managing long-lead equipment.
- Familiar with project management software such as MS Project or Primavera.
- Experience with tender processes, contract management, and regulatory compliance is a plus.
- Knowledge of local permitting processes and construction site operations.
