Senior Project Manager – Architecture

The Key Roles:

Senior Project Manager – Architecture – the key roles is review and control building plans for construction projects. In this aspect of the role, a project architect will usually collaborate with engineers to ensure that project elements like structures and building elements are developed according to local codes and meet the project needs.

 Responsibilities:

  • Develop building plans by liaising with key stakeholders and design and architect teams on architectural requirements and specifications.
  • Monitor and manage all aspects of the project and the progress of the architectural work, including status of work items regarding the contractor’s approved schedule, inter-relationships of various consultant and contractors’ activities, the current overall status of completion and project completion dates.
  • Conduct field inspections and ensure that the contractors pursue their work in accordance with the architectural plans and specifications.
  • Provide timely inspections, analysis, and necessary feedback on the conditions of architectural elements.
  • Assist in the management and oversight of architectural projects to ensure all actions are executed on time and within an approved budget.
  • Communicate effectively with individuals and groups of all levels about project objectives and working guidelines and keep them informed of matters requiring their attention.
  • Prepares project correspondence, progress reports and other documents, records, and reports on status or problems in the field and assures that competent project personnel are on duty at all required times.
  • Implement established means of coordinating project plan and schedules with other projects activities; report delays and problems promptly and take appropriate actions to maintain effective coordination of activities; ensure that activities do not conflict with organization goals.
  • Organizes and manages regular progress meetings with stakeholders to discuss projects, specifications, unusual conditions, or the contractor’s plan to clear understanding of projects.
  • Manage and ensure all architectural activities comply with local zoning, environmental and safety regulations.
  • Build strong effective working relationships with our customers and site teams.

 Requirements:

  • A recognized professional degree in architecture.
  • 15+ years’ experience in Design or Design Management or Project Management.
  • Min 10 years of experience in Mixed Use Projects (Retail, Office, Residential) in either Design Management or Project Management managing design, cost, program, and construction related works.
  • Capable to Conduct/lead design technical meeting, manage Design Consultants and Design Activities which may be include Landscape, Lighting, Interior, etc.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
  • Proficient in English
