The company supplies a comprehensive range of equipment including industrial machines, automated systems, manufacturers, and OEM production facilities across Thailand and the region. With a lean, execution-focused operation in Samut Prakan, the company maintains close coordination with its principal headquarters in Europe.

THE OPPORTUNITY

We are seeking a meticulous and detail-oriented Finance & Accounting professional to take full ownership of the finance, accounting, ERP, purchasing, and compliance functions for the Thailand legal entity. Working closely with the CEO and regional headquarters, the successful candidate will serve as the financial backbone of the local operation — ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely reporting across all financial and operational areas. This role suits a hands-on individual contributor with strong command of Thai accounting standards, BOI compliance, and ERP systems.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Take full ownership of statutory accounting for the Thailand entity, ensuring books are accurate, complete, and audit-ready at all times.
  • Execute monthly and annual accounting closings, including preparation of Balance Sheet and Profit & Loss statements.
  • Prepare and submit Thai tax filings — VAT (PP30), Withholding Tax (PND), and Corporate Income Tax — in line with Revenue Department requirements.
  • Ensure ongoing compliance with local accounting, tax, and BOI regulations; serve as the primary liaison with tax authorities, auditors, and external advisors.
  • Control and reconcile General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, inventory, fixed assets, and accruals on a regular basis.
  • Prepare monthly financial reports for management and regional headquarters.
  • Maintain accurate records of accounting, purchasing, inventory, and invoicing within the ERP system, with daily hands-on use of Microsoft Navision / Business Central.
  • Manage purchasing processes and coordinate with suppliers, including registration of goods receipt notes (GRN) and work orders in the system.
  • Prepare proforma invoices, packing lists, and final invoices; maintain Excel documentation for customs and import/export purposes.
  • Support the Country Manager with contract preparation, internal reports, meeting coordination, and follow-ups with headquarters.
  • Handle sensitive and confidential business information with professionalism and discretion at all times.

CANDIDATE PROFILE

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in finance, accounting, or operations roles.
  • Mandatory hands-on experience with Microsoft Navision and/or Business Central (ERP).
  • Strong experience in accounting closings and annual accounts preparation.
  • Demonstrated experience with BOI (Thailand Board of Investment) compliance and reporting.
  • Strong knowledge of Thai tax regulations including VAT, Withholding Tax, and Corporate Income Tax.
  • Advanced Excel and MS Office skills; high level of numerical accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Fluent English (mandatory) for communication with regional HQ and external stakeholders; Chinese proficiency is a plus.
  • High level of ownership, confidentiality, and professional integrity.
  • Self-driven and adaptable; comfortable working independently in a lean, fast-paced environment.
