Our client is a multinational conglomerate powerhouse and a Fortune 500 entity, operating across 36 countries with commanding leadership in industries ranging from materials, cement, and chemicals to financial services and real estate development. They are deeply committed to major infrastructure and construction projects globally. They are seeking a highly experienced Shift Technician (Instrument) to join their team in Rayong.
What You’ll Do
- Demonstrate proficient technical knowledge and maintenance capabilities concerning Distributed Control Systems (DCS), Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC), and a full range of field instrumentation.
- Execute comprehensive maintenance and calibration procedures for critical components, including control valves, on-off valves, and devices measuring Level, Temperature, Pressure, and Analytical parameters.
- Minimize operational downtime caused by instrumentation failures through rapid and effective troubleshooting of all field devices to safeguard production output.
- Implement and execute Scheduled Maintenance (PM) across the entire instrument system scope.
- Ensure all preventive maintenance and calibration tasks are completed precisely on schedule and strictly adhere to established standard operating procedures.
- Actively participate in and implement instrumentation modification and improvement projects within the facility.
Qualifications & Requirements
✅ Completion of technical vocational education (PVS) or a Diploma in the field of Instrumentation and Control or Electronics.
✅ Proven background of 4 to 5 years in the upkeep and maintenance of instrumentation systems within the petrochemical or chemical manufacturing sector.
✅ In-depth understanding of Distributed Control Systems (DCS) / Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC) and general instrument maintenance practices.
✅ Proficient in the maintenance, troubleshooting, and calibration of various field instruments, including Control Valves, On-Off Valves, Level, Temperature, Pressure, and Analytical devices.
✅ Demonstrated ability to minimize instrument-related breakdowns through proactive troubleshooting to prevent operational disruptions and production loss.
✅ Competent in executing all Preventive Maintenance (PM) and calibration activities strictly according to standard operating procedures (SOPs) and schedules.
✅ Capability to participate in and implement instrument modification and improvement projects.
✅ Ability and willingness to work efficiently in a rotating shift environment.
✅ Possess strong drive and active engagement, coupled with excellent written English communication skills.
✅ Commitment to continuous learning and professional skill enhancement.
