QS Engineer / Document controller

A prestigious real estate developer that is well-known for its luxurious portfolio of developments is looking for a dynamic and skilled expert to fill the position of QS Engineer / Document Controller. Our client is now looking for someone to fill this position. This crucial position is based in Bangkok and reports directly to the Director within the organization.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide assistance to the Technical Director in managing the costs and timings associated with the project, and make certain that the construction project is finished within the budget and timeline that were originally planned.
  • To ensure that the tendering and purchasing process is in accordance with the tender strategy and that the transparent tender is carried out, it is necessary to coordinate with the quality assurance consultant.
  • Collaborate closely as a group with the consultants and contractors, and report your progress to the partners in the joint venture.
  • Possession of the ability to exercise control over paperwork, as well as value evaluations and measurement methodologies, for all types of work trades used within the project.
  • Conduct a thorough analysis of the contract agreements and to make certain that the contract documents are being handled legally and practically in a manner that is beneficial to the joint venture company.
  • Perform tasks that are not predetermined and pertain to construction
Requirements:
  • Graduate with a bachelor’s in civil engineering.
  • A minimum of ten years of pertinent experience is required, with exposure preferably to residential high-rise building developments. A solid foundation in contract management, construction management, or quality assurance is required.
  • Proficient in MS Office software, particularly Excel and Project; fluent in English.
  • Capability to work under intense strain with multiple-task assignments; positive attitude; and aptitude for learning quickly are required.
  • Effective interpersonal communication skills and a perspective that prioritizes the team’s objectives over individual success are qualities of a people manager.
  • Proficient in navigating a multi-cultural work environment and capable of assimilating into local customs and norms.
  • An individual contributor who possesses a strong sense of accountability, team spirit, and task ownership.
