Instrumentation Manager

Client Background:

The client is a leading manufacturer of food grade chemical, used in various industries such as detergents, paint and coatings, and water treatment.

Responsibilities:

  • Plant maintenance: ensure implementation of instruments maintenance of DSC, packing machine, drum filling machine, PABX and other instrumentation installations.
  • Cost control: check and control maintenance expenditure for the assigned area so that requisite maintenance is carried out within the allotted budget.
  • Improvement/ Modifications: Review and identify areas of improvement based on breakdown and shutdown to enhance plant availability and thus overall effectiveness.
  • Work environment and safety: ensure implementation of maintenance activities so as environment and safety system & procedure are adhered to and safe & accident-free workplace is maintained.
  • MIS report & documentation.
  • People development for team members.
  • Inspection and quality control.

Requirement:

  • Bachelor or higher degree in Engineering – instrumentation or related field.
  • More than 8 years of experience in manufacturing.
  • Good – excellent in English communications.
